As many of your know, several states have recently enacted VoterID laws that could prevent American citizens who have not previously obtained state issued ID’s from voting. While these laws will potentially affect numerous classes of people, including the poor, certain minority groups, and the elderly, they could also potentially prevent thousands of young Americans who have not yet obtained driver’s licenses or state issued ID’s from being able to take part in the 2012 election.
