Fiscal Cliff Update: The Senate has passed a bi-partisan agreement and it is now awaiting a vote in the House of Representatives. The bill includes a renewal of Bush era tax cuts for Americans making less than $400,000, and an extension for 2 million Americans on unemployment insurance, however it puts off discussion on the debt ceiling and the sequester for two months. Last week, Florida leaders testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee that controversial 2012 voting laws led to voter confusion and suppression on Election Day. Other leaders from states who tightened voter laws testified in favor of the election laws. Now that Election Day has passed, what do you think of voter ID laws?
