President Obama’s approval rating has dropped 18 points among millennials to just 48 percent. Experts are attributing the shift in support to the surveillance program scandals and the general notion that young people don’t feel that the President has kept his promises. What’s your opinion? In case you missed it, another male congressman has made outrageous claims about rape. This time it was Rep. Trent Franks (AZ) who during a House Judiciary heading said he opposed abortion exceptions for rape victims because “the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy is very low.” LIKE if you agree with Toni Morrison that rape is rape and should be taken seriously.

HAPPY LOVING DAY!  Today we celebrate in honor of Mildred and Richard Loving (pictured here), who were sentenced to a year in prison for marrying each other…. Their case went all the way to the Supreme Court where, 46 years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled that interracial marriage was legal.
