OurTime co-founder Matthew Segal was on MSNBC on Friday and blasted political dysfunction over student loan interest rates which are set to double on July 1st.
Instead of focusing solely on short term fixes, however, Segal argued that we should go after the root of the problem: the soaring cost of college. LIKE if you agree.
The debate about student loan interest rates is but a small piece of the larger budget puzzle. But with nearly 34% of Americans borrowing money for education, it’s a far-reaching issue that we can’t afford to put another band aid on.
