TOO POOR TO HAVE KIDS?

The Facts
The birth rate in the United States has been falling since the housing bubble burst in 2007 and is currently at its lowest rate since the Great Depression. This affects all Americans, as population growth is a strong driver of consumer spending.
Why We Should Care
This is another sign that young Americans are forced to put the rest of our life on hold while we look for jobs and try to get out of debt.
OUR TIME Position
We need to put our generation to work so we can afford to move out, start families, and raise the next generation.
